Pre-match positioning tune-up (MD)
Reactivate angle reading and the set position at low volume on match day, a day that had almost no positioning work — no physical load, only positional sharpness.
Choose a session and the exercise is added to today’s plan.

1 steps
The ball moves from wide and the goalkeeper adjusts position on the arc, bisecting the angle. Few reps, no demanding shot: it is a tune-up of the eyes and feet, not a workout.
Exercise sequence
Coaching points
- The feet reposition in short, continuous steps, always balanced and ready.
- The position closes the angle without dropping too far onto the line — half a metre forward changes everything.
- The head tracks the ball steadily; the body follows the head.
- Low volume is the goal: reactivate the pattern, not tire the legs before the match.
Progressions
- Remove the cones and read the angle freely.
- Add a soft shot at the end.
Regressions
- Keep the reference cones.
- Reduce the movement arc.
