Dynamic arc with fast circulation
Maintain the correct positioning arc while the ball circulates between three points, never stopping the adjustment between passes — the arc isn’t a position, it’s a continuous adjustment.

3 steps
Three servers circulate the ball around the box. The goalkeeper adjusts position on every pass, always keeping the correct bisector relative to whoever has the ball, until one of them shoots with no fixed warning.
Exercise sequence
Coaching points
- The adjustment happens during the pass’s flight, not after the ball reaches the next server — arriving late to the correct arc cancels the benefit.
- Short lateral steps for fine adjustment; only use crossover steps when the distance to cover is larger.
- Depth changes with the angle too, not just lateral position — deeper when the angle is tighter.
- The eyes follow the ball, but peripheral awareness keeps the goal and one’s own position relative to it.
Progressions
- Raise the circulation to match pace.
- Remove the warning about who will shoot.
Regressions
- Reduce to two servers.
- Always announce who will shoot before the circulation starts.
