Organisation calls during the warm-up
Confirm, with no physical demand, that back-line organisation calls are clear and automatic before the match — the component that degrades most when focus goes only to the body.

The coach serves and manages the breaks.
The back line circulates statically or at slow movement across the half. The goalkeeper commands the line and the offside line out loud, with no shot-stopping action involved.
Coaching points
- Short, specific calls — a name or a side, never a long sentence that arrives late.
- Command before the ball moves, not after it is already in transit.
- Voice volume consistent with match level, not whispered just because it is warm-up.
- If the line does not react to the first call, repeat immediately instead of assuming it was heard.
Progressions
- Raise ball-circulation tempo closer to match pace.
- Add pressing commands, not only line commands.
Regressions
- Keep the back line fully static.
- Reduce to three defenders.
