Decision under pressure in a transition game (u14)

A fast-transition game where the ball changes direction without pause. Each action demands a different decision, and the next arrives before the previous one is digested.
Exercise sequence
Coaching points
- The decision comes first, technique second — good technique on the wrong decision doesn’t save the play.
- Reset between actions: with each ball, the mind empties of the last one and reads the new one from scratch.
- Under fatigue, simplify: the safe, clear decision beats the spectacular, risky one.
- Concentration holds in the pauses — the goal goes in when the mind rests before the game does.
Progressions
- Chain transitions with no pause.
- Reduce the number of defenders.
Regressions
- Space out the transitions.
- Give more time between actions.
