Post-match mental reset (MD+1)
Close out the previous match in a structured way the day after — MD+1 had no psychological work, despite being the right moment to turn the match into learning and free the mind.
Choose a session and the exercise is added to today’s plan.

The coach serves and manages the breaks.
A short, calm session, no ball. The goalkeeper works through a fixed reflection script about the match — what went well, one thing to keep, one to improve — and closes the result emotionally.
Coaching points
- Structure before emotion: the fixed script stops a good game from inhibiting self-critique or a bad game from erasing what went well.
- Explicitly name one well-executed action — confidence is built on evidence, not empty words.
- A single thing to improve, concrete and trainable, not a list of blame.
- End with the match closed: what happened, happened; the next week starts clean.
Progressions
- Move from the written script to a short video review.
- The goalkeeper leads their own reflection.
Regressions
- Coach leads the questions.
- Reduce the number of script questions.
